The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will implement a month-long traffic diversion on Dar Al Kutub Intersection, starting from the morning of Friday, November 13.
The diversion, to be implemented in coordination with the Traffic Department, aims to facilitate the project for temporary improvement of A Ring Road.
During the diversion period, the temporary roundabout at Dar Al Kutub will be dismantled and alternate dual carriage three lanes will be provided between the temporary Grand Hamad Roundabout and Al Rufaa Intersection, known as Sana Intersection.
Vehicles coming towards Jabor Bin Muhammad Street from Tariq Ibn Ziad Street and vice versa will have to turn right at Dar Al Kutub intersection and take turn from the temporary Grand Hamad Roundabout or Al Rufaa Intersection to reach their destination.
Ashghal said it will install traffic signage to alert road users on the traffic change, and requested all road users to adhere to the speed limit to ensure safety of all.
