The Qatar Chamber has participated in the 53rd meeting of the Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCC Chambers) held virtually on Wednesday.
QC’s Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani headed the Qatar Chamber delegation that attended the meeting.
The meeting ratified the minutes of the 52nd meeting of the FGCC Chambers held in Muscat on December 2019 and followed up on its decisions.
It also reviewed the findings of the study on the restructure of the FGCC Chambers’ General Secretariat and discussed updates on the establishment of a new headquarters of the federation.
The meeting agenda also reviewed the annual report on revenues and expenses and final accounts of the FGCC Chambers’ General Secretariat for 2018, as well as appointment of auditor for 2020 and the annual report for 2019.
The meeting further discussed the agenda of the 54th meeting of FGCC Chambers to be held on December 24, 2020, and a memorandum on cooperation between the FGCC Chambers and the GCC’s General Secretariat on international economic relations.
