Qatar receives rain, more likely

Many parts of Qatar on Sunday received scattered rain, with the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) forecasting more rain in the coming days. Rain was reported in the central, eastern and southern parts of the country. “Chances of scattered rain will continue until the middle of this week,” the QMD said in a tweet. “Rain will continue intermittently and it may become thundery at places. The rain will be accompanied by strong winds,” it added. The QMD has urged all to be careful and to avoid marine activities during the period. After the scattered rain, people of Qatar were treated to stunning rainbows. (TNN)
