Qatar Charity (QC) has extended its heartfelt congratulations and greetings to the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Government and the people of the State of Qatar on its National Day, December 18, and in commemoration of the historic day when the founder of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani, established the pillars of the modern State of Qatar.
Yusef bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Charity, said, "I am honoured to convey my sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Amir of the State of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Father Amir His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and the people of Qatar, on behalf of myself and all of Qatar.”
Qatar always enjoys security, welfare and prosperity, Al-Kuwari said, calling upon Allah the Almighty to protect it from epidemics and diseases, and to make it a gateway to goodness and giving to humanity, so that it may remain a supporter of the sorrowful and needy.
He added that the love of benevolence is an integral part of all the people of Qatar, who are always eager to extend a helping hand to every needy person in the world.
He said, "Qatar Charity is eager to continue its humanitarian and development role, aiming to enhance the mental image of the State of Qatar, which is known for extending humanitarian support to fight crises.”
Al Kuwari added, "We also look forward every year to providing more assistance to the needy all over the world, especially in light of the coronavirus, in addition to continuing the implementation of relief and development projects, especially in countries suffering from conflicts and disasters.”
