Al Shamal and Al Wakrah scored exciting wins in the Qatar Basketball Men’s League 2020-21 at the Al Gharafa Sports Club on Tuesday. Al Shamal bt Al Rayyan 90-76 (25-12, 25-17, 21-25, 19-19). Mikheil Berishvili scored the highest 31 points for the winners Al Shamal while W. Arakji scored 30. Tavarion Nix garnered 23 points for Al Rayyan.
In the second exciting clash of the evening, Al Wakrah prevailed over Al Ahli 83-69 (23-18, 21-14, 21-13, 18-24). J. Coles Jr. led the scoring for Al Wakrah with 27 points while N. Stover (24) and E. Saeed (19) were the other chief contributors. For A Ahli, J. Lee scored 20 points while R. Goodwin and H. Radi contributed 13 and 11 points respectively.
