A group of prominent Pakistani artists attended Qatari and resident artists’ meet up organised by Doha Art Hub (DAH) at Pearl Qatar recently.
"Doha Art Hub is an artist community platform that organises gatherings of artists to promote and support locals and resident visual artists. Artists from various art categories joined this meet-up gathering to demonstrate and share their talent. Artist gatherings enthuse artists to share their art journey and to do live painting under one roof,” said DAH founder Maryam Al Maadhadi.
"Doha Art Hub, in collaboration with Gourmet district at the Pearl Qatar and Ibn-e-Qayyim Book Store, are pleased to provide wonderful artistic place for artists to come, meet and greet. We are also planning to participate in charitable work in collaboration with government authorities to support specific groups of public. We are also planning to hold a special exhibition for the group members,” added Maryam Al Maadhadi.
"We are also tying up with different stores such as Calmout, Studio Qatar, Frame Corner, Queen of Art, Art and Craft Institute and Ibn-e-Qayyim to offer discounts to our members,” said Maryam.
Director of Doha Fire Station Khalifa Al Obaidly, distinguished Qatari artist Fahad Ali AlMaadeed and the owner of Gourmet District Nasser Khalifa Al Kuwari attended the event to meet and greet artists.
Pakistani artists who attended the event included Mala Waseem, Sumaria Aamer, Warda Rana, Abdulla Tarar and Adnan Siraj. They shared their artworks and experiences with other artists.
