G4S Qatar organised a campaign to clean up the Sealine Beach, under the slogan ‘Keep Our Waterways Litter-Free’, as part of the organisation’s commitment to keep the nature unpolluted. Employees from G4S’ different divisions and branches voluntarily participated in the drive with zeal.
‘Keeps Our Waterway’s Litter-Free’ campaign aims to boost awareness among people from different walks of life, including children, about reduction of waste at source and usage of biodegradable items instead plastic. Through its participation in the coastal clean-up drive, G4S Qatar hopes to inspire all employees and general public to care for and protect the surroundings by adopting an environmentally-friendly lifestyle, ensuring a high level of public health and quality living for the future generations.
Dr Saif Alhajri, CEO G4S Qatar, said, "We strongly believe that with the team effort within the company and with other governmental and non-governmental bodies, we have the capacity to make our world a better place for our offspring.”
A large number of beach-goers also joined the G4S team in the clean-up drive. HSE Team handed over special garbage bags to ensure waste segregation that made it easier to store and dispose-off the waste afterwards.
