Dean of International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) Thomas Stelzer has praised the efforts of Qatar in the fields of integrity and in combating corruption, stressing the academy’s readiness to continue its fruitful cooperation with the relevant Qatari institutions and bodies.
Stelzer made the remarks during a meeting with Ambassador of Qatar to Austria and the Permanent Representative to the United Nations and International Organizations in Vienna HE Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri.
Prospects for bilateral cooperation between Qatar and the Academy and the ways to enhance them were discussed during the meeting.
Ambassador Mansouri expressed Qatar’s appreciation for the prominent role the academy plays in combating corruption and in transferring information and experience to member states and the ways to face future challenges.
The International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) is an international organisation and educational institution based in Laxenburg, Austria. It contributes to assisting member states in strengthening anti-corruption systems through various education, training and research activities.
