Jakarta: A young Sumatran tiger was released back to the wild in a national park in Indonesia’s Aceh province after recovering from an injury sustained when it was trapped by a snare, the head of Aceh’s conservation agency said on Sunday.  Agus Aryanto said the male tiger, estimated to be about 1.5 years old, was released on Saturday after the veterinarian team treating the tiger said the injuries in its right front leg had healed, state news agency Antara reported.The tiger, named Danau Putra, was released to its natural habitat near where it was found in a weak condition on January 22.
