Al Shamal SC set up Qatar Cup final clash with Al Gharafa

Al Shamal scored a thrilling 74-73 win over Al Sadd in the semi-final of the Qatar Cup basketball tournament to set up a final clash with Al Gharafa SC, who earlier defeated Qatar SC 83-72. The semi-finals were played at the Al Gharafa Sports Club on Monday. The final between Al Shamaal and Al Gharafa will be played at 6pm on Wednesday. Al Gharafa will be looking to win Qatar Cup for a fourth time in the eighth edition. Meanwhile, Al Shamal will be looking to secure their first-ever title. Al Gharafa is the only team to have won the cup more than once, having emerged champions in 2014, 2015, and 2017. (TNN)
