Al Khor Carnival has been closed early to ensure the health and safety of all. The carnival, which began at Al Bayt Stadium Park on January 23, was scheduled to continue until February 6.
"In solidarity with community responsibility, Al Khor Carnival management has decided to close the carnival early to ensure the health and safety of all,” the organisers said in a tweet.
The carnival was temporarily closed for sanitisation on Saturday after it drew huge crowd on Friday. "Due to the high demand and for the safety of all, the carnival management decided to sterilise the site on Saturday, January 30th, and will resume on Sunday, for public,” the organisers said earlier.
