Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah on Tuesday visited the factory of the Italian company Leonardo in the city of Venegono. Attiyah was welcomed by the company CEO Alessandro Profumo. This visit comes within the framework of exploring the facilities of the international aviation school to determine its readiness to receive the first batch of Qatari pilots from the Al Zaeem Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College to continue their advanced training, which is scheduled to take place in April. As part of the visit, Attiyah took a training flight to get acquainted with the training programme designed for Qatari pilots on the M-346 advanced training aircraft. (QNA)
