His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met Prime Minister-designate of the Lebanese Republic Saad Al Hariri at the Amiri Diwan on Thursday. The meeting dealt with reviewing the latest developments in Lebanon. Hariri informed HH the Amir of the latest developments and efforts related to forming the government. HH the Amir emphasised Qatar’s support of Lebanon and its people, calling on all Lebanese parties to prioritise national interest and swiftly form a new government that will deal with the crises and challenges facing the country. The meeting also dealt with a number of issues of common interest. (QNA)
