Birla Public School, Doha, Qatar (BPS) has honoured its winners of the AKS Global Teacher Award 2020 – Radhika Rele and Rajesh Pillai, vice-principals who were chosen for their incredible skills, unstoppable spirit, remarkable work and valuable contribution to the field of education.
Radhika Rele and Rajesh Pillai have been selected for the most prestigious Global Teacher Award 2020 on the basis of their nomination and merit. Among other award winners, they have received awards from almost 110 countries.
BPS Vice-Principal Radhika Rele has been associated with the school for the last four years. She has 18 years of experience working in the field of education. Her role as educator includes academic pedagogy, academic auditing and teaching.
BPS Vice-Principal Rajesh Pillai has an association of almost three years with the school and has 19 years of experience in the field of pedagogy and educational administration.
Their dedication and efforts have been recognised at the Global Platform through the Virtual Award Ceremony organised on December 20, 2020. The prestigious award adds to the many awards received by BPS.
AKS Education Awards has launched this most prestigious award and the first of its kind to recognise outstanding teachers from all regions and communities of the world to highlight their contribution to building communities and helping to build a better society through inspirational teaching and training.
