Qatar has reaffirmed its support for the people of Palestine amid what its foreign ministry described as "misleading media campaigns that try to mix up issues and distort the image of Qatar at the expense of the Palestinian people".
The statement said Qatar would spare no effort in providing whatever support it can to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians until the Palestinian people obtain all their legitimate rights.

Qatar has reaffirmed its support for the people of Palestine amid what its foreign ministry described as "misleading media campaigns that try to mix up issues and distort the image of Qatar at the expense of the Palestinian people".
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Qatar was firm on its position on Palestine, which is to end the Israeli occupation, establish an independent Palestinian nation with Jerusalem as its capital and have all Palestinian refugees granted the right of return.
Qatar sees the realisation of these objectives as a sustainable solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict that has been dragging on for the last 70 years.The statement said Qatar would spare no effort in providing whatever support it can to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians until the Palestinian people obtain all their legitimate rights.
