The Qatar Volleyball Association, in cooperation with the Katara, and under the supervision of the ” FIVB ” is organizing the fourth edition of the 4-star Katara Beach Volleyball Cup 2021 from March 8 to 12.
More than 100 men’s and women’s teams participate in the tournament for more than 28 countries: Brazil, France, Austria, America, Switzerland, Norway, Belgium, Russia, Italy, Spain, Estonia, Poland, Gambia, Germany, Netherlands, Turkey, Sweden, Denmark, Lativa, Czech, India, Canada, Greece, Germany, Japan, Lituania, Qatar.
Qatar will participate in four teams, which are of the Qatar (1) Cherif Yunis and Ahmed Tejan, the Qatar (2) Saif and Ziyad, and theQatar (3) Issam and Abdullah, and the Qatar (4) Al-Musalmani and Gusson
The participating teams started arriving in Doha to participate in the tournament, and those teams entered the Safe bubble allocated to them at the Ezdan Hotel West Bay, as part of their preparations to compete in the tournament, which witnesses the participation of a large number of countries, as well as men’s and women’s teams.
The teams were received upon their arrival at Hamad International Airport, where the medical swab was conducted for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and then went directly to the residence hotel, from which the teams entered the “Safe bubble” until the end of their career in the world championship.
The precautionary measures taken by either the Ministry of Public Health or the FIVB will be implemented in accordance with the approved medical protocol, including the obligation to wear masks, sterilize the stadium and balls before holding training and matches, in addition to highlighting the application of precaution before entering the stadium, and maintaining social distancing.
