Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Council (QRDI) will host a webinar on ‘Corporate Innovation as a Competitive Tool: Is Open Innovation an effective form of Corporate Innovation?’ on Monday, September 26, at 4pm Doha time.
As part of QRDI’s ‘Spotlight On’ series, the webinar will feature several distinguished panellists to discuss how companies use various Corporate Innovation Models, including Open Innovation to accelerate business growth.
Participants will gain dedicated insights into Open Innovation and its role in promoting collaboration between internal and external players, offering opportunities to leverage external knowledge and research and development, and contributing to Qatar’s economy. Panellists will also detail QRDI’s function in supporting businesses to adopt Open Innovation in their operations.
The webinar will be moderated by Rachel Chalmers, managing director of Corporate Innovation at Alchemist Accelerator – a QRDI partner and top-ranked Silicon Valley thought leader and connector of leading enterprises with early-stage businesses.
Panellists include Haya Al Ghanim, director of Innovation Programmes at the QRDI Council; Kamran Siddiqui, senior director of Strategy at Ooredoo Qatar; and Mariano Amartino, Microsoft Startups Director for Americas.
QRDI’s ‘Spotlight On’ series continually highlights the successes, opportunities and transformations in the local and global research, development and innovation ecosystems. The series is aligned with the mission of the QRDI Strategy 2030 to establish Qatar as a global hub for innovation.
