Discover Qatar (QQ) has added two more hotels to the list of designated quarantine facilities, bringing the total number of hotels to 62.
The Avenue Hotel and DoubleTree by Hilton are the latest to join the Welcome Home quarantine facilities. A reservation in one of such facilities is a must for people returning to Qatar from red-list countries.
“Discover Qatar continues to grow the capacity of Welcome Home quarantine facilities. With the new addition of The Avenue Hotel and DoubleTree by Hilton, 62 hotels are now available for Welcome Home Packages, bringing together 8,886 rooms daily,” Qatar Airways said in a tweet.
Discover Qatar, the destination management wing of Qatar Airways and the sole facilitator of quarantine booking in Qatar, has taken 85,000 bookings in March — more than twice that in November.
Due to high demand for quarantine hotels, Discover Qatar urged people planning to return to Qatar to book early to reserve a room and budget of their choice.
