The Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) granted full accreditation to Stenden University of Applied Sciences- Qatar’s Bachelor Programme in International Business and Management Studies, marking another significant step forward in the university’s development. As a result, SUAS-Business Q’s programme becomes the only FIBAA-accredited Business Management programme in Qatar and the GCC region.
FIBAA is a German quality assurance organisation that was one of the first to be accredited by the German Accreditation Council. It accredits in accordance with the German Accreditation Council’s standards and is a member of the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR). It was created specifically to promote quality and transparency in education and science by awarding a Quality Seal to tertiary and quaternary educational programmes and providers.
The FIBAA accreditation audit was carried out by a team of highly qualified and experienced international higher education experts in the fields of Business and Management. According to the experts, SUAS-Q’s programme fully met all quality requirements for accreditation and exceeded the requirements for “Career Counseling and Placement Service” and “Alumni Activities.”
Dr. Ivan Ninov, Executive Dean of SUAS-Q, said on the occasion, “We are very pleased with this result and the fact that we have been successfully benchmarked against some of the leading educational institutions providing business management education.” The achievement of this important international accreditation will have a positive impact on our university’s overall image as well as the image of the higher education sector in the State of Qatar.”
