Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Qatar Foundation for Social Work (QFSW) Ahmad bin Mohammed Al Kuwari has appointed two directors to run Ehsan and Aman centres. Following the decision, Director of Awareness and Community Communication Department at Empowering and Caring for the Elderly Center (Ehsan) Khalid Abdullah has been appointed as the executive director of the centre alongside his existing duty.
Khalid Abdullah joined Ehsan in 2006. He worked as head of the pilot project of identity for the QFSW and its centres. He participated in several committees, conferences and workshops on social sectors. Abdullah also contributed to the publication of Ehsan magazine.
Meanwhile, Director of Community Awareness Department of Social Protection and Rehabilitation Center (Aman) Abdul Aziz Al Ishaq has been appointed as acting executive director of the centre in addition to his existing duty.
Abdul Aziz Al Ishaq worked as director of Public Relations Department and Media at Aman in 2013, then as director of Awareness Department and chaired the Human Resources and investment Committees at the centre. Ishaq also worked as director of the Public Relations Department and Media at Social Rehabilitation Center (Al Awin).
Qatar Foundation for Social Work was established in 2013 with a goal to contribute to the development of social and human resources in Qatar to build a community that enjoys self-confidence, positive bahaviour and values. (TNN)
