The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) building was lit up in orange on Monday to mark the World Food Safety Day, under the theme “Safe Food Today for a Healthy Tomorrow”. The MoPH has also issued Food Safety Practices Guide for Food Services, pursuant to the international best practices in the field of food safety in line with the requirements of the relevant Gulf standards. The guide aims at assisting the food services in Qatar with the process of compliance with Qatari laws and regulations to ensure the safety of food products.
