The Scout and Guide Association of Qatar and the Palestinian Scout Association on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the aim of exchanging scout and community experiences, enhancing skills, communication mechanisms, exchanging different cultures and implementing activities, events, projects and studies.
The MoU also aimed at facilitating and arranging procedures for external and internal participation, exchanging visits, presenting various project and programme proposals, harnessing the material, human and technical capabilities available, activating scouting and guidance programmes and activities, and improving the level of scouting and youth services.
The memorandum was signed by Commissioner-General of the Scout and Guide Association of Qatar Jassim Mohammed Al Hardan and Chairman of the Palestinian Scout Association Jibril Rajoub.
The signing of the memorandum comes as a desire from both parties to achieve scouting excellence and to enhance the skills and capabilities of the local, Middle Eastern and international communities. (QNA)
