MES Indian School’s Sohan Sandeep of grade I won the first position in General Knowledge, and Eva Fathima and Hafsa Begum, both grade II students, won the first place in mathematics by securing full 100 marks in the International Olympiad conducted recently by Silver zone, New Delhi in Mathematics, Science, General knowledge and Hindi for the 2020- 2021 academic year.
As many as 17 students won zonal positions in various examinations. A total of 222 students registered and represented the school in the examinations, among whom 24 won gold medals, 22 won silver medals and 24 secured bronze medals.
MES School Principal Hameeda Kadar congratulated the winners for their remarkable achievements.
The SilverZone Foundation believes that exams should be challenging and motivating in order for students to continually improve their academic performance and pursue academic excellence. The examination and student participation should take place in a stress-free environment.
The Olympiad Exams are held to help students improve their reasoning, logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a highly competitive and global environment, in order to lay a solid foundation for national/international competitive examinations.
