Telangana Welfare Association (TWA) Qatar, which is affiliated to the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), organised its first tree-plantation drive at Doha Golf Club and Industrial Area recently under the slogan, ‘Plant a tree, so that next generation can get air for free’.
ICBF Managing Committee member Rajani Murthy and Lutfi Kakar were the chief guests at the function.
TWA President Khaja Nizamuddin thanked Doha Golf Club team members, Satyam, Gangasai Duvvaka, Kandeep, and all those who strived to make the programme a success. He also thanked Gulam Rasool, Venkata Soujanya, Naveed Dastagir, Sravanthi, Sudhakar Sokkam, Mohammed Abdul Rauf, Mohammed Shoeb, Netaji Ramesh, Nagaraju, Mohammed Taha, Shiva Krishna, Swaraj Kumar and Mohammed Atif of TWA for their sincere efforts.
The trees were sponsored by Sheen Services WLL and the breakfast was sponsored by Deccan House Restaurant.
