Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani on Sunday visited Hamad International Airport (HIA) and Doha International Airport to inspect the expansion and upgrade operations at the two airports and their readiness to receive spectators of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. At the HIA, the prime minister inspected the new airport terminals, their utilities and equipment based on the state-of-the-art systems to facilitate the procedures of receiving the spectators of the World Cup and guests of the country. The PM also inspected Doha International Airport’s preparations and the actions taken to facilitate the arrival of the visitors for the tournament. The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior was accompanied by a number of senior officials. (QNA)
