The first shipment of food aid provided by Qatar to the army of the Lebanese Republic landed at Rafic Hariri International Airport on Thursday. An Amiri Air Force plane belonging to the Qatari Armed Forces arrived at Rafic Hariri International Airport carrying 70 tonnes of food product.
The shipment of aid was received by a military delegation from the Lebanese army leadership that included Staff Brigadier General Ali Shareef representing Commander of the Lebanese Armed General Joseph Aoun, and a number of diplomats at the Embassy of Qatar in the Lebanese Republic.
