Najeeb Kanthapuram, a member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly from Perinthalmanna constituency, visited MES Indian School and addressed the students. Najeeb, who heads a number of charitable societies, is also a film director and music composer.
Najeeb was accompanied by Sangeeth K, project director at Knowledge Resource Empowerment Activities (KREA), a comprehensive education and entrepreneurship development programme; Khaleel A P, president (officiating) of MES Governing Board; and other members of the school Governing Board.
In his keynote address, the MLA and chief guest observed that if students have a solid dream and focused ambition, nobody can stop them from realising the dreams.
Sangeeth K, the guest of honour, in his speech explained to the students the modalities of appearing for the Civil Service Examinations.
Speaking on the occasion, Khaleel A P urged the students to be single-minded to get into Civil Service so as to have an opportunity to serve the nation. Hameeda Kadar, principal of MES Indian School, welcomed the guests, while Pramila, vice-principal, proposed the vote of thanks. The event served as an eye opener for the students as it gave them useful details about the Civil Service Examinations held in India annually.
