With the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 powering a real estate resurgence in the country, Cityscape Qatar, the country’s only property exhibition of its kind, is gearing up to showcase a vast array of diverse real estate opportunities aimed at local, regional and international investors.
To be held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, the 9th edition of the three-day real estate exhibition, co-organised by long-standing partners Informa Markets and Elan Events, will run from October 17 to October 19 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
Cityscape Group Director Chris Speller said, “While the international real estate market took a hit last year, it’s promising to see the movers and shakers across Qatar’s market aggressively getting back to business. With Cityscape Qatar historically regarded as a key date in the networking calendar for industry professionals, we look forward to supporting a return to normal operations – albeit in a safe and hygienic manner – later this year.”
Top exhibitors currently signed up for the 9th edition include Barwa, Qatari Diar, UDC, Qetaifan Projects, Ariane Real Estate.
Elan Group Chief Support Officer Khalid Al Muraikhi said, “After a hiatus on events for the past 18 months, it is exciting to get back to business with Cityscape Qatar in October. We have already seen positive shoots from developers and brokers in the country and with a projected resurgence of the real estate market, it is an opportune moment to reinvigorate the industry. By providing a trusted platform, Cityscape will facilitate a progressive and constructive dialogue on developments within the real estate industry.”
In a further boost to Cityscape Qatar and the wider real estate sector, Informa Markets has partnered with Qatar Tourism to align on the development and promotion of investment opportunities across the tourism sector.
Aligning with the show’s UAE counterpart, exhibitors from Qatar will also take part in the new hybrid model for Cityscape Global in November, where they will have access to the month-long digital networking and seminar platform.
The collaboration will enable exhibitors and visitors to search for and identify new leads and contacts globally based on their investment interests, business type and projects.
The live event will be held in adherence with Informa AllSecure, an enhanced health and safety standards that raise the bar on safe, hygienic, productive, and high-quality organised event experiences.
