Qatar sprinter Khalid Zakaria (above pic) has qualified for the semi-finals of the 100 metres at the World Athletics U20 Championships being held at Nairobi in Kenya from August 18 to 22. Those representing Qatar at the meet include Khaled Zakaria (100m), Said Nayef (110m hurdles), Ammar Obaid and Ismail Daoad (400m hurdles), Hafiz Madani (800m), besides the 4x100m relay team of Khaled Zakaria, Saeed Nayef, Khaseef Omar, Daoud Ammar Obaid and Ismail Daoud.
