Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of Finance HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari on Monday met with Kazakhstan First Deputy Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov and the accompanying delegation currently visiting Qatar.
Discussions touched on the bilateral relations between the two countries, and joint cooperation in the trade, investment, and industrial fields, as well as means to bolster and develop this cooperation.
Talks also focused on bilateral trade policies and the efforts exerted by both sides to confront the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, the two sides discussed preparations for holding the next session of the Qatari-Kazakh Joint Committee on Economic, Commercial, and Technical Cooperation, which will be held in Doha.
Kuwari additionally highlighted the economic policies established by Qatar to support the private sector.
These policies included the incentives, legislations, and promising opportunities that were put in place to encourage investors, businessmen, and companies to invest in Qatar.
