Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Luigi Di Maio in Doha on Sunday.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed the humanitarian situation and the latest security and political developments in Afghanistan, in addition to the means of joint coordination to combat terrorism. The Italian minister thanked Qatar for the assistance it provided to Italy in evacuating its citizens from Afghanistan.
