His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italian Republic Luigi Di Maio and the accompanying delegation at Amiri Diwan on Sunday. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and the means to support them. The two sides also discussed the most prominent regional and international developments, especially the situation in Afghanistan. In this regard, the Italian Minister expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Amir for Qatar’s role and efforts in facilitating the evacuation of Italian citizens from Afghanistan. (QNA)
