Qatar and the International Peace Institute (IPI) have signed a partnership agreement at the headquarters of the permanent mission of Qatar to the United Nations in New York.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Qatar by Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations HE Ambassador Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani and IPI’s President and CEO Prince Zeid bin Ra’ad Al Hussein on behalf of the International Peace Institute.
The International Peace Institute (IPI) is an independent, international not-for-profit think tank, located in New York. It is dedicated to managing risk and building resilience to promote peace, security and sustainable development.
Founded in 1970, the institute has important contributions to multilateral efforts to prevent and resolve armed conflicts around the world, and has activities in Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Central Asia.
