The Community College of Qatar announced the implementation of the second phase of on-campus full attendance during the fall semester (2021-2022), beginning Sunday, October 3, in accordance with the announcement made by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education on September 30, 2021, to begin on-campus full attendance as part of the gradual lifting of restrictions imposed in the State of Qatar as a result of the imposed sanctions.
The college stated that all lectures will be held on campus for sections with 20 or fewer students in morning and evening shifts, as well as sections with a lab component.
The college emphasised that CCQ’s attendance and absence policy will apply to all students, with the exception of the case types listed below, if all supporting documents are submitted:
• Students who are currently abroad for medical treatment or on official business.
• Students and working students who have enrolled in morning classes and are expected to graduate in the current fall semester
Furthermore, upon submission of supporting documentation, the college will exempt students with valid excuses from the withdrawal penalties for the fall semester (2021).
Only fully vaccinated students with Ehteraz in green and gold frames will be permitted on campus. Students who did not complete the second dose or did not receive the vaccine must take a rapid antigen test accredited by the Ministry of Public Health.
