Commercial Bank, the leading digital Bank in Qatar, has received two prestigious regional awards from Global Finance for the “Best Mobile Banking App” Award for Corporate in the Middle East, and the “Best in Social Media Marketing & Services” Award for Consumer in the Middle East.
The awards acceptance video speech was delivered at Global Finance’s Middle East Digital Banks and Innovators Awards Ceremony held on November 2, Commercial Bank said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to Global Finance, the winners’ selection process was led by a world-class panel of judges at Infosys, a global leader in consulting, technology, and outsourcing. The editors of Global Finance were responsible for the final selection of all winners.
The two awards come after Commercial Bank recently celebrated winning five awards from Global Finance across both Consumer and Corporate Digital Banking: “Best Mobile Banking App for Consumer, Best Mobile Banking App for Corporate, Best Information Security and Fraud Management, Best in Social Media Marketing & Services, and Best Trade Finance Services”.
Commenting on the wins, Commercial Bank’s GCEO, Joseph Abraham, said, “These awards reflect the investment we have made in innovative digital technologies and our strategic focus on providing the best client experience”.
Commenting on the “Best Corporate Mobile Banking App” Award Raju Buddhiraju, Commercial Bank’s Head of Wholesale Banking said: “This award acts as a catalyst for us to continue to introduce new digital innovations that enhance the experience of our customers whilst maintaining our role as pioneers in the digital banking scene”.
Hussein al Abdullah, Commercial Bank’s Chief Marketing Officer stated: “Commercial Bank’s social media’s strong and remarkable presence and its pioneering role in guiding customers in their digital banking journey has led to the bank being recognised as the Best in Social Media Marketing & Services in the Middle East in 2021”.
