Qatar First Bank LLC Public (QFB) organised a blood donation drive in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
The event was held at QFB’s headquarters in Al Sadd recently.
Employees across all departments of the bank participated in the event along with other blood donors from fellow companies within the headquarters building. QFB planned the blood drive with the noble cause of helping to replenish the supplies at HMC blood bank.
The campaign and received an overwhelming response.
Commenting on the initiative, Mohammed Mohammed, director of Operations and HR, said: “We are honoured and blessed to have the opportunity to donate blood and be part of an important initiative in Qatar. The efforts of Hamad Medical Corporation, its amazing employees and all donors will have a positive impact in saving lives and improving the health and well-being of the people of Qatar. Our inaugural blood donation drive concluded on a high note, and we must thank all the stakeholders for their involvement.”
QFB is planning to hold the blood donation drive on an annual basis in order to pledge their continuous support to HMC.
