Hakkasan Doha, a leading award-winning Cantonese restaurant, has announced new innovative concepts and plans for the month of December. Whether you’re looking for a thrilling new Friday "Botanical Brunch Experience,” a relaxed "Dim Sum, Then Sum Lunch,” or a memorable mid-week evening out, Hakkasan welcomes guests for a gastronomic experience bursting with Cantonese flavors. Hakkasan will also kick off the holiday season early this year, with a special menu available from December 1 to December 31, in addition to its New Year’s Eve curated menu.
Starting with the decadent Friday Botanical Brunch Experience, this lavish brunch is created in collaboration with one of the world’s most renowned infused botanical brand makers. Every Friday through December 24th, from 12pm to 4pm, guests are invited to this wonderfully inventive Cantonese brunch with a unique twist, for QAR 498, to pair expertly crafted infused botanical drinks and spirits with each bite of this expansive five-course meal. Regular brunch beverages, as well as fruit blended beverages for QAR 308 per person, will still be available upon request. The refined and stylish outdoor terrace, which opened in October, provides an incredible and lavish space, making it the ideal setting for this sophisticated weekend brunch in town.
The Botanical Brunch Experience will serve the Shou menu, which is inspired by one of the ‘5 blessings’ that represent long life, happiness, and harmony. This menu offers guests a one-of-a-kind dining experience, with favorites such as signature Peking duck, a delectable array of dim sum and small bites, mouthwatering main courses, and a Chef’s selection of seasonal desserts.
On December 31, the Botanical Brunch Experience will revert to Hakka Brunch, which will be available every Friday from 12pm to 4pm, with prices starting at QAR 308 for non-enhanced beverages and QAR 498 for enhanced beverages. The menu selection remains the same, with Hakka Brunch serving the Shou menu alongside regular brunch beverages.
Then there’s the Dim Sum, Then Sum Lunch, which is available every Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and includes everything from the ever-popular Roasted duck pumpkin dumplings to Wagyu beef puff and King crab dumplings for QAR 98 for three baskets or QAR 148 for five baskets, with three pieces of dim sum in each basket. In Cantonese, dim sum means "touching the heart.” Dim Sum, Then Sum Lunch taps into the unique aspects of our personalities. Calmness, tranquillity, and humility are translated into a simple, elegant, and vibrant experience that is distinct to Hakkasan’s Chinese origins.
Finally, from December 1 to December 31, guests are invited to celebrate this year’s festive season in style with two exclusive menus, including the Festive menu and the New Year’s Eve menu. The exclusive ‘Festive Pine menu’ costs QAR 478 per person, which includes fruit blend, water, soft drink, and tea, and QAR 648 per person, which includes welcome enhanced beverages. To begin, guests are served a festive Dim Sum platter, Crispy prawns with mustard wasabi, the signature Peking duck, Crispy orange chicken with Beluga caviar, and a variety of other dishes. The menu will conclude with the sweet ‘caviar.’
End 2021 with the limited-edition ‘New Year’s Eve Plum Blossom menu,’ a symbol of purity and resilience that will be available only on December 31. This menu will be ideal for welcoming 2022, with four decadent courses beginning on New Year’s Eve. Salmon crudo, steamed dim sum platter, and double-boiled chicken soup with coconut Honey pepper chicken with bee pollen, Charcoal grilled Wagyu beef with Asian sauce, Barbecued Chilean seabass, Stir-fry broccolini, and the Fried trio organic jasmine rice are all delicious main courses. Finally, for dessert, an exquisite Pistachio Financier will be served. This special menu is priced at QAR 448 per person and is available for two or more parties. For an additional QAR 300 per person, guests can enjoy a fine selection of welcome enhanced beverages.
