Qatar National Bank (QNB), the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, has launched in cooperation with Visa, the world’s leader in digital payments, a special campaign to celebrate the Qatar National Day ‘A Date to Remember’.
The promotion marks the one-year countdown to December 18, 2022, with exclusive benefits for QNB Visa credit cardholders in Qatar to leverage the preferred payment method for the upcoming events.
As the campaign highlights the momentous date, it translates it into 18 lucky winners, in a 12-week long promotion, each winning QR202,200 cashback. All customers who spend a minimum cumulative amount of QR100,000 per month on their QNB Visa Credit Cards will enter into a draw with a chance to win one of the 18 cashback prizes.
Six random winners will be announced every month through a raffle draw.
The campaign also offers guaranteed rewards for all Visa credit cardholders, where they can earn 50 percent more Life Reward points when using their QNB Life Rewards Visa credit cards on weekends (Friday and Saturday) from December 18, 2021, to March 12, 2022, inclusive.
QNB Group Retail Banking GM Heba Al Tamimi said, "We are exactly one year away from 18 December 2022, and what is a better way to mark this occasion, than with a special campaign rewarding 18 winners, in 12 weeks, each winning QR 202,200. The campaign provides a good combination of popular and valued benefits with monthly and daily prizes. We look forward to bringing our customers more exciting offers and promotions in the lead up to this special date when all eyes will be on Qatar.”
Visa Country Manager for Qatar Sudheer Nair said, "We are delighted to join QNB in building up excitement in anticipation of 2022. Promotions like this one for QNB’s Visa credit cardholders are a great way to not only expose more consumers in Qatar to the security and convenience of digital payments but also reward them with a chance to win unique experiences when they pay with Visa.
"We are also supporting small businesses and helping uplift the local economy, a mission that aligns with the Qatari government’s digital aspirations and our own commitment to providing more consumers and businesses access to the digital economy.”
