Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah paid a visit to one of the Qatar Armed Forces' units receiving training in the US State of West Virginia.
These forces are in the United States within the framework of military cooperation between the two friendly countries, which has witnessed clear progress in recent years, in an effort to ensure international peace and security and to combat terrorism.
His Excellency was accompanied during the visit by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United States Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad Al-Thani and Qatari Military Attache to the United States Staff Brig. Gen. Nawaf bin Mubarak Al-Thani.
