Qatar Charity (QC) has opened two branches, in Al Hilal and Abu Hamour, aiming to provide easy services to donors across the country.
Ahmad Yousef Fakhroo, CEO’s assistant for the Resources Development and Media sector at QC, inaugurated the new branches in the presence of Ali AlGreeb, director of the Resource Development department at QC, and several other officials from the charity.
QC, through the opening of its new branches, aims to expand its reach to serve the community and make it easier for benefactors to make donations near their residence, using the best and latest collection methods.
The new branches are expected to receive cash and in-kind donations from benefactors in support of charitable, developmental and humanitarian projects implemented by QC in and outside Qatar to maximize the number of beneficiaries.
Ahmad Yousef Fakhroo, CEO’s assistant for the Resources Development and Media sector at QC, expressed his delight with the opening of the new branches, indicating that QC aims to provide easy services to donors across the country for the benefit of those in need.
He added that the locations of the branches easily accessible, emphasizing that the branches will help the community make donations and receive relevant information easily. He hoped that QC will cover all the areas of the country with the opening of new branches in the near future.
The branches and collection points are open from 8am to 10pm. On Fridays, they are open after the Friday prayer unil 10pm. The Al Hilal branch near The Mall is open from 07.30am to 10.00pm, except on Fridays.
It is worth mentioning that QC has 141 branches and collection points across Qatar, which are located in hospitals, commercial centres and markets, to receive donors and benefactors, in addition to 1741 donation boxes and 33 donation kiosks across the country.
Besides, benefactors can also donate through Qatar Charity’s website https://www.qcharity.org/en/qa), and app (qch.qa/q/app), in addition to requesting a ‘Home Collector’, and dialing hotline 44667711 for donating.
