With the presence of Malayalam film industry stars Mammootty and Suresh Gopi, the wedding reception of a Qatar-based businessman’s brother held in the South Indian state of Kerala was a star-studded affair.
The event, which took place in Central Kerala’s Thrissur district, celebrated the marriage of Saad Abdul Rasheed, the brother of Qatar and Dubai-based overseas-film-distribution company Truth Global Films chairman Abdul Samad.
The reception was attended by several Malayalam actors including Ramesh Pisharody, Bibin George, Adil Ibrahim, Rajesh Keshavan and producers such as Anto Joseph, Joby George, George S– Mammootty, Noble Jacob besides many other guests from the film industry.
Truth Global Films (TGF) is part of the Truth Group, a leading real estate and hospitality firm in Qatar.
The Truth Group made its way into the film industry two years ago and since then, it has won the overseas-distribution rights of Malayalam films like
The Priest, Kaaval and Ajagajantaram. In addition, Tamil, English, Hindi and Telugu language films have also been distributed by TGF.
