EU SPECIAL ENVOY PRAISES QATAR’S ROLE IN AFGHANISTAN: European Union Special Representative for Afghanistan, Thomas Nicholson, met with Ambassador of Qatar to the European Union HE Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki on Tuesday. During the meeting, they reviewed the relations between Qatar and the EU. The EU Special Envoy for Afghanistan praised the role played by Qatar in the evacuation of Afghans and European citizens from Afghanistan, expressing the EU’s aspiration to continue cooperation with Qatar in this issue.
