A nine-member delegation of senior officials of the Pakistan Administrative Staff Collage, Lahore visited Pakistan International School, Qatar (PISQ) recently.
The officials, who were from the Department of Police, Postal Services, Audit and Accounting, had a semi-formal meeting with PISQ Principal Nargis Raza Otho in the presence of vice principals and academic heads.
The delegation was given a comprehensive orientation about the school’s status, performance, and services it renders to the Pakistani community in Qatar.
The principal answered many questions of the delegates regarding the school’s progress and development. The discussion mostly centered on the idea and strategy planning with which the school was catering to the educational needs of a diverse diaspora, chiefly the Pakistani community.
On a question about financial sustenance of the school, the principal said: "It is the meticulously honest and thrifty approach, aided by the Almighty’s grace, that the school is being run without any external monetary aid.”
She further said: "My team and I always try to work with the best of our potential because we believe it’s our passion for and ownership of the task that makes us stand out successfully in the end.”
The delegation later toured the school campus and witnessed the facilities provided to the students.
Later, the principal was presented a souvenir of The Pakistan Administrative Staff College by the team leader of the delegation. The delegation then visited the school campus that ended with a couple of group photos.
