Pak Shamaa school recently organised sports week.
All precautionary COVID-19 measures were followed during the event, which was held under the supervision of Sana Showky, Aneela, Nazia and Farhat.
The event saw students taking part in running races, skipping and various other games as well as physical exercises.
The long week of sporting activities was organised keeping in mind that students are unable to play outdoor games these days due to COVID-19.
This is having an impact on the mental and health conditions of students. It’s the continuing endeavour of Pak Shamaa School to foster positive attitude among students in spite of the pandemic circumstances.
For a long time, sporting activities been viewed as a way to stay healthy, but it goes beyond that. As a matter of fact, sports teaches life lessons like discipline, responsibility, self-confidence, accountability, and teamwork.
Sporting activities help increase blood flow to the brain and help the body to build more connections between nerves, leading to increased concentration, enhanced memory, stimulated creativity, and better-developed problem-solving skills.
Sports helps the player’s brain to grow and makes it work better.
Pak Shamaa School Principal Nabila Kaukab said students should take active part in outdoor physical activities to stay physically and mentally fit.
