Dallah Driving Academy (DDA), one of the largest driving training schools in Qatar, inaugurated a dedicated office to facilitate members of Pakistani community in Qatar.
The opening ceremony was attended by Pakistan Embassy’s Community Welfare Attache Waheedullah Khan, Chairman of Qatar Pashtun Community (QPC) Malik Nawar Khan Wazir, Director of DDA Hassan Nisar, and Finance Manager of DDA Muhammad Usman.
Nisar and Usman welcomed Pakistani community members and assured them of all cooperation and support. They said Wazir is a dedicated and patriotic Pakistani and their association with him spans more than two decades. “Malik Nawar Khan Wazir is our close and trustworthy friend. Pakistani community members can reach out to us through him for any matters related to the academy,” said Nisar.
DDA provides training for all types of vehicles and for drivers of all ages and experience levels. Highly experienced and multi-lingual male and female instructors conduct the training courses. With more than 100,000 successful student graduates, DDA is a first choice for expatriates.
Speaking on the occasion, Wazir said the office at the academy has not only been set up to facilitate Pakistanis to obtain driving licenses but to also serve as a platform to settle other issues related to Pashtun community in particular and the Pakistani community in general.
“This is not only my office but an office of all Pakistanis. Our doors are open for all,” assured Wazir.
Wazir also signed and stamped discount vouchers for driving courses which were distributed among students.
Vice Chairman of QPC Akram Bangash, Vice President Omar Badshah Bangash, General Secretary Abdul Nasir Qureshi, Education Secretary Abdul Raziq Atmankhel, member of Official Affairs Nasir Naeem Wazir, and Jirga leaders Allah Dost Afridi, Muhammad Jan Wazir, Ghalib Khan Khattak, Nawab Jan Wazir, Malik Niaz Badshah Bangash and Malik Fakhruddin were present on the occasion.
Prominent among others who attended the event were Abdul Khaliq, Imran Khan, Shahid, Arshad Hussain, Atiq ur Rasheed, Rashid Charsadda, Feroz Afridi, Maula Jan Bangash, Nasir Mahmand Jassim Swati, Raja Orakzai, Chaudhary Mohd Ajmal and Ikram Butt.
