Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad al Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation (QF), on Tuesday met with Her Royal Highness Princess Dana Firas, UNESCO Global Ambassador and President of Petra National Trust, at Education City.
During her visit to QF, HRH Princess Dana also received a presentation on the organization’s vision and mission; was given further insight into its efforts and initiatives in education, science and research, and community development, from the viewing platform at the 2015 building (QF Headquarters); and commemorated her visit by signing QF’s Visitors Book.
HRH Princess Dana is a leading advocate for heritage protection and preservation, and its role in sustainable development, with her work in this area leading to her designation as a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador in 2017.
