He also addressed a press conference along with Chairman of KP Youth Assembly Danial Ahmed Paracha at Peshawar Press Club and put forth his demands which were given wide coverage in the local newspapers.
Khan, who is also Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Youth Assembly ambassador, made a number of demands which included establishing a Pakistani university in Qatar, provision of technical education for children of expatriate Pakistanis, arrangements for competitive exams, permission to import one personal mobile and one used car without paying any tax duty.
“I am thankful to the government officials, who not only spared time out of their busy schedule to meet me but also patiently listened to my suggestions and recommendations related to the welfare of overseas Pakistan. They assured me that all the demands submitted by me would be forwarded to the relevant authorities for necessary action,” remarked Khan, who is a resident of Qatar for the past 15 years.
The dignitaries he met included Speaker of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Provincial Assembly Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani, Chairman of Karwan Organisation Khalid Ayub, Finance and Health Minister Taimur Khan Jhagra and member of provincial assembly Ikhtiar Wali Khan who belongs to PML (N).
