Al-Rayyan Municipality carried out 4,789 inspection tours of food establishments in September to ensure the safety of foodstuffs and the availability of the necessary health requirements, during which 88 violation seizure reports were issued in accordance with Law No. 7 violating food establishments.
Awareness campaigns were carried out for the public about the damages of single-use plastic bags, and the importance of using multi-use bags of environmentally friendly types.
It also supervised the slaughter of 4,534 carcasses in private slaughterhouses, total destruction of 28 carcasses and partial destruction of 279 kilograms of meat.
