The Ministry of Labour has launched the second phase of the Qatarisation programme for jobs in the private sector, with the aim of enabling Qatari job seekers, male and female, and the children of Qatari women, to know and apply for jobs available in private sector companies.
The ministry, through the National Employment Platform (Kawader), has revealed 456 jobs in the second phase in private sector companies in various specializations.
The jobs offered in private sector companies at this stage were 55 jobs in the financial and insurance sector, 88 in the services and transportation sector, 28 in the industry and energy sector, two in the real estate and contracting sector, 12 in private institutions, and 271 jobs in the communications and technology sector.
The launch of the second phase of the Qatarisation programme in the private sector comes as a continuation of the ministry’s efforts to localize jobs in the private sector as one of its main priorities.
The Ministry of Labour called on Qatari men and women and children of Qatari women looking for work and wishing to work in the private sector, to apply for the aforementioned jobs through the National Employment Platform (Kawader), and to take advantage of the benefits offered by private sector establishments to citizens within the job localization program.
The ministry affirmed its keenness to provide all facilities and incentives that would encourage citizens to engage in work for major private sector companies, and to provide an exemplary work environment.
