Elementary school students of Bangladesh MHM School and College, Qatar enjoyed their school picnic at Jungle Zone on March 9. It was their first outdoor trip since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Jungle Zone is one of the beautiful indoor, jungle-themed amusement centres for children in Qatar.
Students participated in several activities. Most of them had not visited this theme park before and the tour held a lot of surprises for them.
About 305 students and 25 teachers joined in the picnic, which was a short but lovely experience that engaged the teachers and students in a world of fun that can never happen in classrooms.
Getting away from the everyday atmosphere of the classroom gave students an opportunity to spend time with one another in a new environment. It was a memorable day for them under the guidance of teachers of the school. Director, Lt. Cdr. Md. Anwar Khurshid, (Retd), MBA, Principal, Md Zulfiker Azad, Vice Principal A.T.M. Asadusjaman and all faculty members of elementary school also participated in the picnic.
The students were excited and kept cheering in the bus until they reached the venue. They were very happy to visit the place. The main attraction of the picnic was an amazing circus and magic show arranged by the picnic spot authority for the students. Students enjoyed their participation in all the rides and events.
Before boarding, Director, Lt. Cdr. Md. Anwar Khurshid, (Retd), MBA, of the school gave a short speech, where he mentioned the importance of annual picnic and encouraged the students to be attentive to their studies. He also urged the students to maintain strict Covid safety rules including wearing masks.
The main aim of the picnic was to give the students a break from daily routine classes and to build up bonding between the students and teachers.
